I still don't know why the name of the movie is "Jashnn" - the story doesn't seem to indicate any kind of Jashnn in the movie.
Anyways the songs of the movie are a pure Jashnn and they jell very well with the moods of the movie. One could watch the whole movie only for the songs and the music which are simply brilliant. I think this is the first movie this year in which the songs are placed where they are meant to be and take the story forward. Anyway being a Bhatt camp movie what else can you expect.
The story of the movie is nothing new, but it has been handled well by the director. You feel the tension when the characters feel it and you are happy as well as sad with the characters. The one thing wrong with the story can be that it never really takes you to a high where they can really connect with the audiences. The movie moves at its own pace and you expect the movie to pick up but it never really does except at the end.
The performances of all the 4 main actors are very good, especially of Adhyayan Suman and Shahana. You feel for them and cry with them. This is the first movie of Anjana Sukhani as a solo lead and she plays her role very well much to the surprise of many. Humayun Saeed is very well suited to this role and I couldn't have imagined any other actor in this role.
The movie certainly could have been better but that is true for so many movies. Overall this is a movie worth watching at least once.
