Shaka & Raka are rivals residing in separate villages. Their enemity dates back into the time when Shaka had brutally murdered Raka's elder brother Roshan for marrying a helpless girl from their community. Shaka goes to jail, while Raka vows to seek revenge for his brother's death. Time moves on and Raka becomes a matured man. He resides with his sister in law & his younger brother Badal. Problems arises when Shaka's brother Jabar misbehaves with a village belle & gets humitiated by the public under the leadership of Raka. When he returns to pavilion, he is shot by their only sister Reshma on grounds getting humiliated & staining their legacy. Meanwhile Shaka completes his term in prison & comes out. He takes an oath to seek revenge over his brothers death. Raka also takes an oath that he would get his brother married to Shaka's only sister Reshma (as this was the last wish of Raka's dying sister). Raka approaches Shaka to end their rivalry & settle terms. But Shaka remains blatantly adamant & refuses. Things get easier for Raka when Reshma & Badal accidentally meet and later fall deeply in love. Reshma does not know that Badal is actually the brother of her enemy. Badal too keeps it a secret but when Reshma wants Raka's head from Badal & Raka meets Reshma to unveil the truth, things get topsy turvy. Reshma realizes that her mother is nothing but a barbarian. The local Fakir Baba along with Raka & Badal requests Shaka to stop his disastrous activities & vindictive & destructive thoughts. Things get to a standstill when Shaka attacks the unarmed & peaceful groom party of Badal & Raka coming to marry Reshma. At this juncture Raka thrashes the evil Shaka. Shaka collapses and Badal & Reshma unite. Fakir Baba dies. Shaka amputates his own left leg with an axe out of despair & frustration of losing to Raka.
