The film narrates the tale of Abinash, the son of a wealthy businessman who has very little time to spare for his child. Abinash craves for love and company of his near ones. Having lost his mother he held his father to be responsible for her premature / early death.He grows up and falls in love with a girl in college. He decides to marry Bandana but his father is against the alliance. Abinash in a fit of rage leaves his home. His father decides to cut of all ties with him. Abinash and Bandana set up their small but happy household. He gets a job in a factory, while she takes up a job as a nurse in the local nursuing home. Abinash's father visits the factory intending to buy it and finds his son working there as a petty labour. Debesh, the father of Abinash has a mild heart attack and is admitted in the nursing home where Bandana works. She takes care of him. He grows fond of her. After getting well he leaves. She does not reveal her identity. Meanwhile she is diagonised with blood cancer. The rich father-in-law gets to know of her illness. He also learns her true identity. Doctors are hopeful about bone marrow transplantation as a possible cure. But her her blood/ tissue does not match with that of doners. Doctors give ultimatum. Father-in law earlier an atheist prays to god and pays a visit to the shrine of Lord Shiva. In the meantime her brother who was on a sales trip returns and his tiusse/blood matches with Bandana. She is opareted upon and gets well.Father in law welcome both his son and Bandana into his home.
