    Pooja Bhatt as an actor did some great films under her father Mahesh Bhatt’s direction and later re-launched herself as a producer. Her initial films like ‘Tamanna’, ‘Dushman’ & ‘Zakham’ were mind blowing, but she met the box office success with films like ‘Paap’ and ‘Jism’. All these films had brilliant music score and some good performances. I still remember watching ‘Jism’, which was total clone of a Hollywood film but had fantastic music, performances and locations.     Sex is a lot of things -- emotional, exciting, dirty. But boring? Even with Sunny Leone in it? Wow, Bollywood that's below the belt. Even by your standards.

    The Pooja Bhatt [ Images ] directed Jism 2 alternates as a picturesque and dark erotic drama along the lines of Last Tango in Paris and In The Cut but is much too comical to turn on the heat as either.

    After a decade, Pooja Bhatt is back with the much hyped sequel to her bold film JISM (2002) which made John Abraham a nobody to somebody! Pooja Bhatt has assured the same effect to the lead actors of JISM 2. Will this movie indeed do wonders to the careers of Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh and Sunny Leone, only this weekend will tell.

Film: "Jism 2"; Starring: Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh, Sunny Leone; Directed by: Pooja Bhatt; Rating: ***

Nine years after "Jism" gave us a new kind of heroine in Bipasha Basu who emerged with erotic insouciance out of the water and headed straight for the hip region, "Jism 2" gives us a strangely inhibited porn-star heroine.

For those expecting a sex romp with the queen of adult content, Jism 2 is a bit of a damper. There are three well-oiled bodies, two male and one female, caught in the throes of an anguished do-or-die passion that can only burn itself out. But sex is really not the solution for these wounded characters.

Director Pooja Bhatt aims to take her characters beyond their bodies. These are seriously flawed people not afraid to scream out their outrage when life deals them a particularly unfair blow.
