The zamindar of Palashdanga Umashankar Chowdhury was in Nainital for the sake of change of weather. But one day his manager Kanai Ghosal came and reported that neighbour Biren Chatterjee had started problem regarding a small plot of land adjacent to their pond. Umashankar had no son hearing from manager, he became very anxious. His only daughter Suhdira told his father that she would go to Palashdanga alone to settle the dispute. But her car on the way became out of order. At that time a young man came forward. The young man was in a big car. He invited Suhdira to get a life. Sudhira didn't know at that time that the young man was Biren Chatterjee. But when it was revealed he had a soft corner in her mind. So she became very upset. So she ordered her fighter with sick to take possession of the disputed land. One night Biren's old servant Ganesh was murdered. This news came as a blow to Sudhira. One stormy night he found Biren standing alone on that disputed plot of land. She came out of her house. Her only intention was to save Biren's life. Biren was surprised seeing Sudhira there. Sudhira requested Biren to leave the place, and she also promised that she didn't require that land any more. Since then it could be of Biren's property. Biren wanted to know why Sudhira was saying that. Suhdira said she was saying that for her own sake. Biren looked straight in Sudhira's eyes and he found both love faith in their eyes.
