    Jugal Hansraj was born on 26th July, 1972, and is an actor as well as a director in Bollywood.

    Jugal Hansraj had a successful career as a child artist. Hansraj started his career as a child in the 1983 film Masoom, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi. A very sensitive portrayal by Shekhar Kapoor, of the novel Man, Woman and Child, written by Erich Segal. He also acted in films such as Karma, Loha and Sultanat as a child actor.

    Jugal also featured in ads on television and the print media as a child. One of his best known campaigns was for Nutramul.

    As an adult, Jugal's debut was made in the film Aa Gale Lag Jaa in 1994, where he was paired with Urmila Matondkar, who was also his colleague in his first film as a child. Thereafter, he was seen in Papa Kehte Hai in 1995 with Mayuri Kango. The film also starred Anupam Kher. He aslo starred in the mega project Mohabbatein, which also featured Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, under the Yashraj banner. He then played minor roles in the highly successful 2001 multi-starrer Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, in the 2005 hit Salaam Namaste and in Madhuri Dixit's 2007 come-back film, Aaja Nachle.

    His debut vehicle as a director and writer was the computer-animated film Roadside Romeo (2008). The movie was produced jointly by Yash Raj Films and Walt Disney Studios. The film opened with an overall positive response from the critics, however, was not commercialy successful.
