So many times a movie depicts the music but for Kahaani the songs and the music wrote its own Kahaani. Amitabh sir's soulful voice gave "Ekla cholo re" a very defined depth. Right from Ballads to hard rock the music has been eased and smooothened out to fit the movie aptly. "Piya tu kahe rootha re" is hard hitting and has vibrant notes.
