Kajal Agarwal is a famous South Indian Actress. Kajal Agarwal was born on 19 June1985 in Mumbai. She completed her graduation in Mumbai. She started modeling from her college days.
Kajal made her acting debut in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na, in which she enacted a minor supporting role as the friend of the film’s lead actress, played by Aishwarya Rai. She then signed in veteran Tamil director Bharathiraja's Bommalattam. The film, however, got delayed and released only in late 2008.
Her film career took off in 2007 when she entered the Telugu film industry through the film ‘Lakshi Kalyanam’ along with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. She had her first commercial success with ‘Chandamama’ (2007) directed by Vamsi in Telugu and rose to prominence after her performance in ‘Magadheera’, which remains her biggest commercial success and also fetched her a Filmfare Best Telugu Actress nomination. Following further consecutive successes with A Karunakaran's Darling (2010) opposite Prabhas, ‘Brindaavanam' (2010) starring NTR Jr. and Mr. Perfect (2011) directed by Dasarath with Prabhas again, she established herself as one of the leading actresses in Telugu cinema.
Kajal Aggarwal has been a successful main lead in numerous blockbuster Telugu films. She was wooed by Karthi in ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ and is ruling the roost in Tollywood and also has a few successful Tamil films to her credit.
She is also making her debut in Kannada in Raju Hasan's Thathasthu opposite Chirag.
She was spotted by director Rohit Shetty for her extraordinary performance in the Telugu super hit ‘Magadheera’ who then cast her to play Ajay Devgn’s love interest in the much anticipated action drama, Singham.
