Tarak Ghore wanted to hand over all of his huge property to his two grandsons Manindra and Sarada. But Sarada became wayward. So Tarak Ghore decided to arrange a marriage between Manindra and his friend’s daughter Mokhhada. But as Manindra married Kishori in the meantime, he was deprived of the property. But Manindra was not able to find a job. In the meantime he had become a father. Being poverty stricken he went to Tarak Ghore for help. But Tarak refused to meet him. Mokhhada had a love for Manindra from her childhood with an interest of developing hatred in Mokhhada’s mind, Sarada took Manindra to Mokhhada’s place. But things happened differently. Instead Mokhhada became sympathetic about Manindra. After returning home Manindra found his rich father-in-law had already taken away his wife and son to their own house. He was insulted when he tried to take back his wife and son by his father in law. Mokhhada had to marry Sarada unwillingly. So Sarada was able to get only the body of Mokhhada, not the soul. Tarak Ghore knowing everything became repentant and changed his will. In the new will, fifty percent share was for Manindra and the remaining fifty percent for Mokhhada. Sarada became so angry that he hid life saving drug of Tarak Ghore and pushed him to death. After the death of Tarak Ghore, Mokhhada went to Kishori’s house and gave her the copy of the will. On her way back she met Manindra. Manindra promised Mokhhada that definitely he would go to her house. At last one day Manindra came to Mokhhada’s place. While they both were talking, suddenly there was a sound of pistol shot. Manindra found Mokhhada was shot dead. It was Sarada who fired the pistol. But in the end ,crime did not pay.
