Who said Bollywood doesnt expand beyond its formula ridden territory? Who said it couldn't match the intensity and out-of-the-box film making of Hollywood? and who said that they simply couldnt make a real comedy post the Hrishikesh Mukherjee-Amol Palekar-Utpal Dutt era?

Well, whoever said would be damned to heaven! once you subject yourself to a great experience of watching this Akshay-Kareena super dumbo, executed by a maestro named Sabir Khan with tons and tons of money spent by some absolute fools, you'll thank the almighty for giving you the opportunity to ... » read more

    More Bodies Less Soul

Quite a few bollywood personalities’ reputation is at stake with this film - Akshay Kumar, with recent flop hat-trick, Anu Malik, with endless list of flops, Kareena Kapoor, with her first release after a gap of 8 months and the normally box-office safe Nadiadwala grandsons.

A Hollywood stuntman Viraj (Akshay), who does all dangerous actions scenes for the likes of Stallone and Brandon Routh, meets Simrita/Bebo (Kareena) at their respective friends’ (Aftab and Amrita Arora) wedding, and they instantly develop extreme disliking for ... » read more

Kambakt ! Still got to wait.

Bollywood means full of masala entertainment, one should be glued to the seat focusing on the silver screen in front of you. But making such films is not an easy task, especially when you are trying to make an out and out entertainer. There is a fine thin line between good Masala entertainment and potboilers, the maker have to be very careful and have to hold the pulse of the masses so tight that they can just enjoy the film. Akshay Kumar has been the new face of Masala Entertainers with total entertainment and also knows the pulse ... » read more

I am a great fan of Akii. He is a wondeful actor, his acting is good but his choices are bad. He said in his interview that I prefer illogical films rather logical films as illogical films are just for entertainment. You just have to keep your brains aside for 3hrs, forget everything and just enjoy the film. But this same formula the legend David Dhawan is applying and still his film is atleast worth watchable and I believe his all films, also the recent one, “Partner” were all illogical, and still it was entertaining. But this film gives you cheap comedy, pathetic drama ... » read more

I just don’t understand why the hollywood stars has signed this kind fo film. I guess its all about money honey. And this was seen in the Sylvester’s face, when he saved kareena from goons and said “Kambakht Ishq” and after that dialouge his expression was saying “Kambakht Ishq” (what the hell!!).

Anyways sad for Akshay and Kareena, and more to that, sad for the producers but I am still sure that if its about the money issue then its definitely sure that they must have got profits, but the result from the audience were not positive. But who cares, its all about the money honey. » read more

Kambakkht Ishq depicts the battle of the sexes, a theme that’s rarely depicted on the Hindi screen. The lingo is poles apart, so is the attitude. In fact, this is a modern take on relationships, with the two hours divided between laughter and emotions, frivolous and reality.

Director Sabbir Khan’s motive is simple: Entertain for the next 2 hours. The entire first hour moves at a lightening speed, making you enjoy the war of words between Akshay and Kareena at regular intervals.

Music is up to the mark, with three interesting tracks — ‘Om Mangalam’ [RDB], ... » read more
