The film showcases the world of politics and to what extent a politician can go to get name, fame and money. Suraj Prakash (Raj Babbar) is a very ambitious person and this ambition makes him do all bad things. He separates from his beloved who is pregnant, when she doesn't fulfill his unreasonable demands. 'Kanwarlal' is a very different character played by Jeetendra with brilliance. All the other actors also do a great job.
