Jailer, Vishwa Pratap Singh aka Rana (Dilip Singh) is a patriotic person who believes every person should be patriotic and live for his own country. He treats the prisoners of his jail as his family and has a nice bonding with them. One day, one of the new prisioners, Micheal Dang (Anupam Kher) misbehaves with a police officer . When Vishwa Pratap Singh comes to know of this he goes to Dang and slaps him. Dang warns that he will take revenge. Dang escapes from the jail with the help of all his BSO officers and kills every prisioner and officer of the jail, and also kills the entire family of Rana barring his wife who loses her speech and his youngest son who becomes handicapped with one leg. Rana decides to take revenge and to do it, he decides to go for a secret mission taking with him three prisoners, Baiji Thakur(Jackie Shrooff) , Johnny(Anil Kapoor) and Kairuddin Kisti(Nasessuddin Shah) to assist him in the war. Rana hides his identity at the new place and give himself the new name of Dada Thakur. Baiju and Johnny try to run away from the mission but Dada Thakur gets hold of them. Dharma (Dara sing), who was once a prisioner of Dada Thakur and is now living a happy village life, helps Dada Thakur a lot by giving information related to the village. Will Dang come to know about this secret mission ? Will the three prisioners really help Dada Thakur ? How the entire mission is handled and achieved , is what the rest of the story is all about.
