  • Just a tragedy like Mon Bole Priya Priya

Keno Mon Take Chay rating: 2 out of 10(Aditya Chakrabarty wrote on 14 Jul 2012)

Milan Bhowmick is famous for making forgettable films in the past including a few with his forgettable son Raaj in the lead. The films are a nothing less than a torture and his latest film ‘Keno Mon Take Chay’ is no exception.

Agni and Tony , two friends who have no work romance two sisters Dibba and Priya who study in school. While the elder actually believes in love, the younger sister is materialistic and uses Tony. She gets married in due course of time and goes abroad, but has a broken marriage afterwards. On the other hand, Dibba’s father is dead against her relationship with Agni who is from a lower class background. He manages to separate them, but though Dibba goes to Agni later, he refuses her love and when he does decide to return to her, it’s too late as she commits suicide. Later on even he dies.

Releasing the film after a couple of years doesn’t help at all . Even this film turns out be a tragic love story like Mon Bole Priya Priya , Milan’s last release which also starred his son Raaj. Now this is one actor who is short, hopeless and has no future. The action scenes are laughable. Quite a few scenes have been devoted to three actors who try to act funny and it is supposed to be comedy, but the net result is disastrous! The two sisters are supposed to be school going girls so does that mean they get married while studying in school itself? Isn’t it illegal ? Raaj looks and acts like a psycho in all his films!

Probably the best factor is Rimjhim Mitra as Dibba(what a name!) who does well in her first film as the female lead and should be seen more in other films. Even she has even disassociated from this film as it was evident from her absence at the film’s music launch as well as at the premiere.
