A Priyadarshan movie is known for its comedy, not necessarily its music. His movies have had a few decent numbers, but nothing that you would want to listen to often. The same goes for the music of Khatta Meetha. The music is composed by Pritam and Shani. The album has four original tracks, and three remixes, although every song sounds like a remix.
I have no idea what to write about Nana Chi Taang. Sung by Kunal Ganjawala, it’s a fun song, with really funny lyrics. Nothing more to say, really. Aila Re Aila, sung by Daler Mehndi and Kalpana Patowary, is another fun song.
Sajde, by KK and Sunidhi Chauhan is a romantic song, the only one in the album. It sounds decent enough, although nothing great.
Bull Shit, yes, there’s a song by that name, and it is the most fun to listen to. Sung by Shehzad Roy, the song has interesting lyrics. It talks about everything that is bull shit in the country, from politics to false promises to speeches in English, etc.
Nothing much to write here. The music of Khatta Meetha is decent, it’s the kind of music that won’t top charts but will work really well in the movie.
