    Straight from Dil se:

It’s actually a fun loving entertainy film. Not that bad. Though most of us, I guess many of us aren’t aware of this film, but this film is being released in a recent but unfortunately kab aayi kab gayi, nobody knows. And fortunately I have seen this movie and also liked the movie. It’s a small budget film with unknown characters but with also known characters. Music, story, screenplay and Direction done by Shashi Preetam were Ok, as per the expectation.

    Some brief about the story:

It’s the story of about 5 friends who came from Hyderabad and 5 friends from Mumbai to Goa for just chillex. But on the very first day both the groups accidently fought together on some issue. They again had verbal fight when both the groups landed on the same hotel. By taking the advantage of this Hotel Manager Romeo (Sanjay Kapoor) and his Event Organizer Uncle Vasco De Gama (Gulshan Grover) converted this normal fight into a Cricket fight. Remaining players were also sponsors by them. A small event at the Hotel, Hyderabadi Biryani’s Vs Mumbai Vada Pav’s, some entertainment and Big profits from sponsors. Match happened and Hyderabadi Biryanis won the match. The Chief Guest cum Business Tycoon cum the Owner of that Hotel “Richie Rich” (Jackie Shroff) thought an idea to create this national issue. A match which will be shown on a satellite channel; will be played on a big ground, sponsors will be big, so the profits will be big. For all that to happen Richie Rich hired a PR Aparna Ghosh (Shayali Bhagat). What next, match happened and this Mumbai Vada Pav’s team won. And this time the profit were approximately 10times above there expectations. Once again Richie Rich thought an Idea to play one more match as a final match, but this time he sold out the team to some Mafia groups. Now these Mafia people were treating very badly to their respective teams. One fine day when they all understood that these people know just one language i.e. Business language and are not ready to listen their problems, then Romeo and Vasco De Gama made a plan with these 5+5 boys that they will draw the match so that this series will end and no more match will be played there-after. But here the main problem was that they were 5 and the rest of the players were from that Mafia Groups. They had a game plan, strategy, to make this match draw. What next? Watch the climax and enjoy the film.

Music was Ok. Performances were good from all the side. Infact Shayali Bhagat has also done well. And those 10boys did their best according to their expectations. Infact the film was all in all entertaining and given much more as per the expectation.

Writer Director Shashi Preetam actually trying to give one message here through his film. He just thought a bit different from others. Just because of money, these businessmen and the cricket board are separating and dividing our country in small states. Cricket is a National game and its better if it’s played as a nation wise rather converting our national game into money making business. And many hidden facts will be shown here in this film by Shashi Preetam which infact you will also think for once that somewhere it’s true.
