There are films which are trashy, have a low budget and should not have been made. However this particular film surpasses them all. That is because even though a particular Mr.Banerjee makes such films, they are at least released in proper theatres or maybe have one known face from the world of television. In this film, it seems as if everyone is a newcomer. The film starts on a note which might make people think about the genre of the film. Then as the film progresses, things start getting bad to worse .The film could have been better had it been better handled. Firstly the story line-

A failed novelist Arghyakamal Dutta ‘s dream was to get a novel called ‘Kolkatar Dwaityo’ published and create such a character who would undo all the wrong doings in the society, but it did not happen. He passed away, but before he wanted his grandson who is extremely close to him to be ‘Kolkatar Datiyo’ to keep his dreams alive. His grandson Bablu who is taunted and teased by everyone in the neighbourhood specially Ronny,Jhonto and their friends, becomes ‘ Kolkatar Dwaityo’ complete with a mask and gloves which have pointed, long, sharp edges! He becomes the threat to all evil forces and becomes the darling of the poor and suppressed! The police are hot on his heels, but no idea who he is! The local councilor’s daughter is madly in love with this character. One day she receives a call from him and goes to meet him.Bablu kidnaps her and demands Rs 5 lakhs which he will actually give to Jhonto for his mother’s treatment. The police happen to know about his real identity somehow, but still they can’t catch him.The councilor gives Rs 5 lakh, but his daughter still doesn’t retern as she is aware of Bablu’s real identity and is love with him. However Ronny and the cops do manage to catch hold of him and he is taken away by the cops. Meanwhile Ronny manages to get hold of Tumpa and tries to act fresh with her, but she somehow overpowers him and goes to his father. They go together along with Jhonto to free Bablu. The entire city also comes to know about the bomb threats of the terrorists thanks to the posters posted all over the city by Bablu and Tumpa. The chief minister decides to reward Bablu and he lives a happy life with Tumpa.

The film has hardly any budget to speak of, in fact it seems as if it has been made for free. The performances are terrible and completely amateurish. The music is terrible, the theatre where the premiere of the film was held was overflowing with people, a good number of them just standing because of lack of space. The production level is obviously very low because the screening was getting disrupted from time to time and at one time, it got completely stuck and had to be stuck all over again. The camera work is terrible as it seems to have done digitally and it keeps on moving up, down and practically everywhere during some scenes. There are spelling mistakes in the headlines, credits and even in the English they are speaking. Imagine the hero and Ronny keeping on saying ‘Stamped Out’! How is it possible for two people to post posters all over the city within a couple of hours when even several people won’t be able to do it in a day? The terrorists seem like jokers and one of the action sequences is absolutely for clowns!
