Zamindar Krishnakanta used to live in Haridragram. After death of his brother ramkanta he brought up his son Gobindalal. Krishnakanta wished to make a will and give half the property to Gobindalal. Krishnakanta’s own son Hiralal was arrogant and ill-mannered. After listening about his fathers will he threatened his father that in consequence of this he would marry a widow. Krishnakanta decided to disown his son and summoned Brahmananda to prepare the will. Hiralal tried to bribe Brahmananda to make a fake will but failed. He then went to convince Rohini, the widow daughter of Brahmananda’s brother. Hiralal promised Rohini fell in this trap and put the fake will and stole the real will. But Hiralal did not keep his promise. One day when Rohini was crying besides the pond there appeared Gobindalal. Seeing Gobindalal and listening to him Rohini was moved and fell in love with him. She decided to replace the fake will that night while replacing the will Rohini was caught red-handed and was. Bhramar, wife of Gobindalal was very happy in her married life. Gobindalal requested Bhramar to convince Krishnakanta to allow Gobindalal to talk to Rohini. After talking to Rohini, Gobindalal realized her love for him. That evening Gobindalal saved the drowning Rohini from the pond. Gobindalal was also attracted towards the beauty of Rohini. Though Gobindalal tried to resist himself from this fatal attraction, but he failed. Bhramar came to know about this relationship and left for her paternal home. And that evening Gobindalal and Rohini were involved physically. Krishnakant’s illness was doubled after listening this again Krishnakanta changed his will and gave all the property to Bhramar what he earlier gave Gobindalal. Bhramar returned home after the death of Krishnakanta. Gobindalal decided to leave. Bhramar requested not to but Gobindalal was still then submerged in Rohini’s beauty. He told Bhramar “I’m leaving you’ Bhramar said “I believe you will come back again. If you don’t come then god is not there then Bhramar in unfaithful” in Prasadpore Gobindalal started living with Rohini. Bhramar fell ill. Bhramar’s father, listening to every thing sent Nishakar, a handsome young to Prasadpore to meet Rohini. Nishakar came to Prasadpore and met Rohini. Seeing Nishakar and Rohini in the garden Gobindalal misunderstood Rohini. He thought Rohini was attracted to this young man. He was so angry that he shot Rohini deal the same night. Gobindalal was arrested but due to Bhramar’s father’s desperate attempt he was need from all charged of killing Rohini. Bhramar’s condition became critical. But just before her last breath Gobindalal arrived in front of her.
