After the maverick koi mil gaya (though maverick, it was a partial blending of two of Spielberg's classics, i.e Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, and which was splendidly done) Krissh came ... with a story line- very nicely written, some special effects- commendably created, and some acting- brilliantly acted ..... now this flick. Everyone is engaged in asking a question, that where is the Krrish 2 has gone?? But it's as simple as water naa?? Krissh acquired an enormous power to jump over the multistoried one after another in just a flap of the eye lids..... so it's quite natural, I think, to give a miss to one building i.e. the sequel Krissh 2!! Isn't it??
Anyhow.....the film has all the elements to captivate you..... which a bollywood movie needs to have. But the screenplay (i think supposed to be!!) didn't help the audience much sometimes to get captivated with it's elements! Which is not done!! We all know that - Krissh can fly, can save people and 'pigeons' from danger..... we experienced his dancing ability earlier... also. There was no need to put these things in this script again to let them get re-established!! The recapitulation with some scenes from the previous two films with Amitabh Bachchan's voice over seemed very kiddish!! And somehow these all made the film quite stretched in some parts, specially before the interval. These can be easily chucked out and the film could have been more crisp. The songs (which is not hummable altogether except the Kangana's song) also acted as a barrier to the film's motion. The film could dealt with the virus attacking part only, and that would have been better. But I must admit one thing, that the dialogues are really very cliched! What made Rakesh Roshan to write that!! I think only 'Jadoo' knows!! The emotional part could have been more shorten and crisp to thin the melodramatic part!! And, as it is a film and not an educational movement, the social messages, which are overflowing from the each and every corner of the flick..... made it 'textual' sometimes!!
There is nobody now who can match the persona of a superhero except Hrithik Roshan. But the un-tightly script prevented him to do his finest job, which he had done in KMG and Krissh. Priyanka Chopra didn't have very elaborate part to act, but as she is the actress with the sense and sensibilities of acting, she did well. Kangana Ranaut looking marvelously gorgeous and done a very good job too. So also Vivek Oberoi. with a fixed lower part of the body and just two running fingers he did justice to his role of Kaal. The VFX of this film is very good, and I think it would be much better if the film was in 3D.
On a whole with some loopholes in the script Krrish 3 is a nice movie to watch and
