I guess the concept of the fight between Khalli vs Rajpal Yadav is indeed very funny and very attractive. But somebody has said it very correctly; all the glitters are not gold. This is even not silver also, infact not even steel also.
Written and directed by Mr. T.K.Rajeev Kumar, who has previously directed movies like Chal Chala Chal. Starring Govinda & others and also one movie named as “Raja ko Rani se Pyaar ho gaya” starring Arvind Swamy, Manisha Koirala & others. In this movie also he came up with the idea of elephant in the story, but same as always, all that ... » read more

    No violence!

The Great Khali adds star value to the film, that's it! But this one would be quite a disappointment for Khali fans, because the professional wrestler has a minuscule cameo that includes a terrible sequence where he is supposed to savour an item number too. Although it does wake you up momentarily in the end, just because due to a dance number by Shama Sikandar which is the only spontaneous and energetic part in the film. She seems to have enjoyed her 4 minutes of fame though Khali looks totally uncomfortable in those 14 minutes that he is seen on screen. All in all needless ... » read more

Priyadarshan and David Dhawan made their own niche of comical films. Their popularity graph rose to peak and also at time turned tipsy topsy. Both churned out movies so frequently that at many times the movies use to look like continuation of the earlier film. Similarly both had some assistants who had turned director and tried to make films in their mentor’s style. One of such Assistant turned Director is T.K.Rajeevkumar who had worked with Priyadarshan and made his own films in similar style. His last work was Chal Chala Chal, and now returns back with Kushti with almost ... » read more

Poor Script + Poor Performances = Torture

Rajpal Yadav is getting typecast in similar roles. He was as awful as he is and he was also as good as he is in some situations.

Nargis doesn't get scope and was quite bad too.

Om Puri and Sharat Saxena enact their parts well. Since they have done similar roles before

Asrani was wasted, but was still sharp.
Manoj Joshi's impersonation of a popular politician is an eyesore. An irritating take-off on the irrepressible Laloo Prasad Yadav.

All in all, the biggest problem here is that neither Rajpal Yadav, the central protagonist of ... » read more

the promotional highlight of the movie is shown to be the presence of khali but indeed there is just a atep ahead to a cameo of him in the film.the only humorous part of the movie is the fight between rajpal and kahli.the romance also is not much of an interest maker.all the pehelwans would be disappointed to see the kahli's role as it would not be up to there expectations.theres nothing much to hold interest or pull the audience. » read more

As said earlier by one of my friend, very simple and very predictable. It’s the story of about one village where “Kushti”, i.e. Wrestling is very famous as being inspired by the lord Hanuman. There are also two rivalries, Om Puri & Sharat Saxena, who often have competition between them. Now one day, a short man, Chander (Rajpal Yadav) was appointed as Post Master in that village and that too some post master was being appointed after a very long-long years of time in that village. He fell in love with one beautiful girl, Ladli (Nargis), in that village. But as she was ... » read more
