    The film 'Lal Ranger Duniya' deals with the shady world and lives of sex workers and the other social ills which surround it. Others movies too have made before on this subject and this is no exception. The big bad world of prostitution, local mafia, politicians etc. could have been explored fully and more could have been shown about Himan trying to improve the lives of the sex workers or trying to eradicate other social ills.     After a long time Tollygunge has again produced a film entirely dedicated to the sex-workers of Kolkata.
    Nilanjan Bhattacharya’s latest film “Lal Ranger Duniya” is based on Rupak Saha’s novel which deals the daily lives of the sex workers in the famous Sonagachi Area.
