    Ex Colonel Kapoor's (Nana palisikar) sons are Ram Kapoor (Dharmendra) who's a Major in Indian army & Rajan Kapoor (Rajendra Kumar) who's Wing Commander in Indian air force. Rajan is in love with Usha Choudhary (Mala sinha) but is shy to tell her about his feeling. Usha Choudhary is a doctor by profession & the daughter of Colonel Choudhary (Nazir Hussain). On the other hand, Ram don't have any interest in love, but one day meets with Usha & unknowingly falls in love with her, while Usha is in love with Rajan. Both Rajan & Usha plan to tell their respective parents about their relationship. But before anything could be finalized, Rajan had to leave for a mission, to bomb the Japanese airport secretly. Soon Ram finds out that the Japanese knew about the mission of planting bomb in their airport. But before he could do anything Rajan had already crossed the border and was unable to return. Due to the Japanese firing, the plane is shot down & Rajan is being assumed as dead. Usha was not in a state to believe Rajan's death. On the other side Rajan's dad gets shocked about the news and in order to recover him soon Ram & Usha gets engaged. Now the Indian army have to destroy the secret japanese airport, and Major Ram carryies out this mission with a commando unit. The question remain will major Ram be able to complete this task?
