Lauren Gottlieb got fame through Season 3 of FOX Network's hit reality series 'So You Think You Can Dance'.

Lauren seamlessly transferred into acting when she did a guest appearance in ABC Family's "Make It or Break It" (2009) and CBS series, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2000).

Gradually, she fell in love with acting. She also starred in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011) in an epic dance battle against the Chipetes as well as the CGI for the character, "Alvin."

In 2013, she landed up a role as the lead female in India's highly anticipated, first ever, 3D dance film, ABCD (Any Body Can Dance). In the film she shared the screen space with film stars, Prabhudheva, Kay Kay Menon, and Ganesh Acharya as well as stars from the hit dance show "Dance India Dance", Salman Yusuff Khan and Dharmesh Yelande.

It was director Remo D'Souza who approached Lauren, as he had become a great fan of Lauren after seeing her "So You Think You Can Dance" (2005) and wanted to bring her to Bollywood.
