    Many of you would have read the book (by the same name, written by Yann Martel) already but if you haven't, you are in for a surprise as you would have never guessed about the awesomeness you are about to experience!

    An Indian family running a zoo plans to move out of India carrying all animals in a cargo ship. Amidst a storm the ship drowns luckily leaving the protagonist (PI), a Zebra, chimpanzee, tiger and a hyena in a life boat in the middle of nowhere. What happens from here, is for you to see, experience and survive the odds with PI.

    A boy and a tiger in a stranded boat. Hmm...Now how interesting can that be.

    Everything . Every damn thing. For the naive, the title is just too timid to fool you to think of another story of a stranded guy (if anyone told you that already), as sooner you realize the scenes and the walls around you take a life of spellbinding artistic imagery and spectacular scenery of an Indian boys amazing adventure of self realization.

    There are some films whose born are not meant for any kind of discussion or criticism.
    They reached a "beyond any discussion" point in their mothers' womb (here the director's mind). But, after their born (here release of the film), we, the 'mango people', found ourselves simply dumb seeing those 'kingly babies' (here films), and got ourselves lost in the thought that what lies in the journey of a 'life' (disguised in the form of films), the journey- from the form of an embryo to it's full bloomed state, that makes it so large than it's own life!
