    Lokesh Todi aka Lokiish was born in Kolkata, a city where Art is a very integral part of life. Music, dance and acting came naturally to him as his parents were singers and event organizers. At an early age he learnt Classical Vocal from Ustad Raza Ali Khan, grandson of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan (Kasur Patiala Gharana).He did his BA in Comparative Literature (World Literature) and MA in Film Studies with final paper in Script Writing from Jadavpur University. He completed his diploma in Cinematography, Multimedia, Interior Designing and General Management from Welingkar. He started his journey from Advertising Agency in Kolkata but soon shifted to working in various departments of filmmaking to learn everything first hand which made him take up jobs in camera, production, direction and post-production. With Post-Production DI training from Singapore he started working in Kamal Hasan’s Production Company in Editing Department. In post-production he has been delivering all kinds of contents for several years as Editor, On-line Smoke Editor and currently as a Consultant for making 35mm direct prints. Delivery of various kinds of content like Ads, Music Videos, Trailers and Films in Mumbai, over the years has honed his skills for visual story-telling. He made his first short film in 1999 and is now back to producing contents as Director/Producer with his recent short films Oo! Fxxx! and Poor Scum (which won 1st prize at Gorbatschow Pure Shorts).
