Rajesh Mehra (Anil Kapoor) lives a wealthy life with his father and mother. One day his father (Dr. Sreeram Lagoo) arranges his marriage with Malti who is the daughter of his close friend and belongs to a wealthy family. Mehra is confident that his son wont have any objections with the marriage. When Rajesh comes to know about it, he refuses to marry Malti since she is mentally unstable. Rajesh decides to leave home and starts living in a room free of rent given by Majid Kaliya (Mehmood) whom he had met in an accident. Rajesh starts singing in night clubs where he meets Ritu Mafatlal (Meenakshi Sheshadri) and both fall in love with each other. Ritu's father wants a rich groom for Ritu and he discards the marriage of Ritu and Rajesh unaware of the fact that Rajesh actually belongs to a wealthy family. Rajesh and Ritu both get married in the absence of Ritu's father. Ritu comes to live with Rajesh in his room. Majid's wife doesn't allow them to sleep together. Majid decides to send them both for honeymoon to Mysore with fake names of Kaushal and his sister Kamini. The fake names cause many further problems for the couple. Watch out what happens when Rajesh and Ritu meet the T.T of the train and the problems they face to escape out from their real identity. Will they both finally get some time together or will they have to continue facing problems even in their honeymoon? Watch out what happens in the remaining part of the story.
