Mithilesh Shukla (Rajpal Yadav) is a simple librarian in the Lucknow University. He is 34 years old. He is forced to meet a gorgeous girl Veena Mishra(Rituparna Sengupta) who is much taller than him. After initial apprehensions, they fall in love and get married . Soon he starts getting suspicious and jealous of Veena because of the obvious reasons. He starts doubting her friendship with Akash( Kay Kay Menon). This leads him nowhere but ruining his life. Later he understands his mistakes and is guilt stricken.
