what an awesome film ! what a tremendous break thru for a debutant director ! What Songs ! What a start for Salman Khan!
I rightly remember that this film came right after QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK and broke all existing records.. This is also perhaps the biggest known Indian grosser which broke even the records of the movie SHOLAY ! I absly adored Salman Khan in this film looking his ALL TIME best ever !! Bhagyasree was an adorable darling with her nasal but sweet voice looking a chubby teenager ! Lata and S.P. Balasubramaniam duets were a runaway HIT !! Perhaps - this was one film whose AUDIO came out in two processes - audio cassettes for music and audio cassettes for the DIALOGUES of the whole film- such striking popularity with a capital P. Perhaps Salman and Bhagyasree's First Love ..and my first loved - 'Love Story' with whom i fell in Love- Who knows.. i may fall in Love again :-P
P.S. So much popular was the 'white Dove' in the film that a whole Song was picturized on it and Bhagyasree and it was Kabootar Jaa Jaa Jaa..
