    Two thieves, Harvinder Singh(Dharmendra) and Tinku(Sanjay Dutt) used to get anonymous letter that he have proof about them and if they don't meet him he will tell police. So they meet in hotel but nobody comes. Then one woman Seema (Shabana Azmi) with her nephew Rahul comes and thanks them for getting ready for social service of village Kashipur & show them that letter which they didn't write. They go to that village where there is no place to stay & there is Daku Sunder Singh (Danny) who used to kill anyone who didn't give him money. So one day, when they were drunk, they tried to run out of that village. One day they had fight with Sunder Singh's men. After fight they sleep there only and next morning they find themselves in Kashipur village, but didn't know who had dropped them. Zamindar, Suraj Bal(Pinchoo Kumar) father of Asha(Jaya Pradha) who used to love Tinku gives of that person to Sunder Singh. So Sunder Singh send there people to kill them, but both Tinku & Harvinder kill them. Later Tinku & Havinder train village to fight by gun which Tinku & Davinder got at home from an unknown person. So they get the village free from Sunder Singh. Later they came to know that Seema used to send letter because they were bold person, which he came to know from his brother, Deepak, a police officer, who got killed by Sunder Singh.
