    Films with Metropolitans as their main backdrop have been one of the most popular formats in our Hindi film for more than two decades now, where the list is topped by our financial capital Mumbai and after a huge gap comes our National capital Delhi.     A movie promising a new taste of mumbai-mafia-police chemistry was definitely intriguing. But it did not live up to it fully. Nasiruddin Shah did not have a meaty role, adding to the disappointment. The story does not revolve much, having very less to offer. Sonu Sood had his so far best screen presence. The narration, cinematography is good, but due to weakness of the screenplay, the film moves very slow.     Nowadays quite a few action films are making a comeback in Bollywood. If you see the trend, many leading heroes are taking the Salman Starrer Dabanngg route - playing the role of cops. This Sonu Sood (ironically Dabangg made him famous for his villainous role opp Salman) starrer ‘Maximum’ seems like yet another police-based action film. Not discounting the fact that it has got a slew of very powerful actors, it may still prove to be tough for the movie in Box office. But, if it's able to come up with a good content and good execution, then who knows, it may work out too. ... » read more
