    Mohan Agashe is an Indian theatre and film actor. He is a psychiatrist by profession and retired as Professor of Psychiatry at the B. J. Medical College and Sassoon Hospital in Pune, India. Mohan first rose to fame with Marathi play "Ghashiram Kotwal" writen by Vijay tendulkar.But in Hindi films he catapulated mainly into parallel cinema whcih was appreciated by works in "Nishant", "Bhumika","Aakrosh","Mashall","Gandhi" and with commercial success in Subhash Ghais "Trimurti" where he played a villain called "Khokha" which was liked by all.Then he acted in paralle; cinema films with directors like Prakash Jha (Mrityudand,Gangajal, Apaharan) with RGV (ab tak chappan,james) and other films like "Hu tu tu","paap" and "Rang de Basanti". He is based in Pune currently now working on Marathi plays.
