Very Ordinary Film.....
Mone Mone Bhalobasha is a film which was supposed to release months back as the posters of the film had been seen on the streets of Kolkata, but now the film has been released nearly 6 months after it’s expected release.
The film is a very ordinary film where it is the tale of two brothers, one an orphan and another the son of an industrialist. The orphan is brought by the industrialist and asked to look after the industrialist’s son who is completely wild in his ways. Sagar is the orphan and Surya is the industrialist ‘s son.
Sagar goes to a village on behalf his brother Surya to see if Ganga, the girl whom Surya is supposed to get married to is an appropriate choice.Ganga’s family imagines him to be Surya and get the shock of their life when Surya’s father turns up there. They even come to know that Sagar is an orphan. Both families decide that Surya should get married to Ganga. After their ‘ashirwad ‘is over, Ganga goes to stay with Surya’s family for a month. By this time Ganga is madly in love with Sagar and Sagar also loves her.
Over there she realizes the real character of Surya and he tries to misbehave with her in everyone’s absence. Later on Surya even hires goons to kill Sagar. When Surya’s father comes to know the incident and why Ganga has run away, he goes to save Sagar. He gets shot by Surya as he comes in the way. He also reveals that Sagar is actually his own elder son from his first marriage which even his wife (turns out to be his second wife) had known of.
The film is meant to project Joy as a superstar as the ad in the paper says (rather it actually calls him a superstar). We don’t see him becoming a superstar or even a star though he is relatively better than a lot of heroes. He is not bad at all in the action scenes.Arunima isn’t bad at all, in fact we have always seen a minimum level of acting in every film she acts in. There are several unnecessary songs and not one song is up to the mark. In the last scene, the cops look like terrorists! The actor who plays Surya is not much of an actor.
