A must watch film, all I can say after watching this exceptional film. Brilliant performance give by Anupam, I believe this is the best performance he had ever given. Very inspirational and a lot to learn from this movie, from the characters, from the dialogues, from the story, and etc.

The film is all about an old man name Joy (Anupam), a retired professor; he lives at Calcutta after his wife expired, his son Inder (Rajat Kapoor), daughter in law Rita (Divya Dutta) and grand-daughter Gargi (Avika Gor) lives at Mumbai. One fine day he got mild heart attack, decided to stay with their children’s for the rest of his life and wooo flight to Mumbai. Many days they all lived happily and happily but one fine day Inder’s wife Rita forced his husband for some help of money from his dad to buy a new flat, their own flat, as they were staying in the house given by the company where Inder is working. He actually was not willing to take money from his dad, as his thought was elf-independent kind of thing. But his wife was not willing to wait as she just saw one house, just like her dream house, but was about to sale to someone else if the deal is not taken at the proper time. So she indirectly pops out the topic and guess what, Joy agreed and decided to sell his apartment which was there at Calcutta. All’s happy! But this was not; at the other one different story was cooking. Joy discovered that just next to his apartment (at Mumbai), her long time favorite student lives, Neelima (Sharmila Tagore) with her daughter Anjali (Nargis) whose having very sweet little boyfriend Ajay (Shayan Munshi) who aspires to be a Singer. Later on Joy also discovered that Anjali is his and Neelima’s daughter. Joy had taken the courage and said every truth to everybody that how this actually happened. Anjali actually wanted to go US for her PhD studies but didn’t get scholarships. Joy decided to give all the money of his saving to Anjali because that’s his responsibility. But on the other end he also promised his son and daughter in law for their new apartment. What will be his choice?

Watch the movie. Watch the extra-ordinary performance by Anupam Kher. Have a good feeling after watching Rajat Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore after a long time. You will not get upset after watching the two new comers, Shayan and Nargis. And you will love to watch the Balika Vadhu girl, Avika Gor in a big screen.

Very good storyline, given justice to the climax, listenable songs, and what? What else do you want?
