Let Mr. Bhatti be on Chutti!
Film: Mr. Bhatti On Chutti
Cast: Anupam Kher, Bhairavi Goswami and others
Dir: Karan Razdan
Ratings: 1.5/5
'Mr. Bhatti On Chutti' is a story of Mr. Bhatti, an assistant bank manager who wants to meet George Bush to discuss the issue of world peace. After much trial finally his dream comes true when he wins a trip to England (Is it so easy?).
The film has a weak story with forced humour. Anupam Kher's attempt at comedy is not very appealing mainly, because of the weak script and hopeless dialogues. Dialogues and scripts are the essence of film making and if the essence is missing, even the best of actors fail to deliver. It's the same case with 'Mr. Bhatti On Chutti'.
Makers have tried their best to add grip to the story with some twists and turns but unfortunately the efforts fall flat on their faces. Anupam Kher grabs all the limelight; Pawan Shankar and Bhairavi Goswami hardly make a mark. Not a good start for debutant Pawan Shankar!
The script makes an attempt at highlighting the issue of world peace by mentioning great figures like Gandhi and Martin Luther but its boredom overshadows the message as well.
Karan Razdan's firts attempt at comedy falls short of many parameters.
Totally ignorable!
