An Ok story of a mother-child relationship, the story is very common and nothing new in it. In short it’s a very hyper melo-drama film.
Yashoda (Nutan) has been widowed for years, but has brought up her two children with lot of love, care, and honesty. She is disappointed when her son, Shankar (Mithun), who is arrested for breaking the law, and subsequently jailed, and she decides she will have nothing to do with him now. She runs her life alone and is not dependent on anyone. When Shankar comes out of jail, he tries to make apology, but Yashoda out-rightly refuses to have anything to do with a criminal. Guess what will be its end? Naturally, happy ending.
All the performances were good, especially for Madhuri. This was here very next film release after her big hit Tezaab and also which she got highly praised. But sadly this film was a flop, but this didn’t made any difference for her.
An Ok film, which can be skip.
