    • Music Review Of "Murder 3" By Sumit Sharma.

      Murder 3 music rating: 7 out of 10(Sumit wrote on Feb 1 2013 1:04PM)

      It's the third installment in the Murder series, also Emraan Hashmi, who ruled the Murder franchise, was replaced by Randeep Hooda in Murder 3. Bhatt-camp always brings superhit soundtracks, and music of Murder series may be considered as landmark. Murder(2004) brought Anu Malik's unforgettable compositions "Bheege Hont", "Kaho Na Kaho", and "Zindagi Iss Tarah", while Murder 2(2011) brought a number of new but talented composers, with chartbuster tracks "Haal-E-Dil", "Aye Khuda", & "Phir Mohabbat". Soundtrack of Murder 3 is composed by the melody king Pritam, and very talented Pakistani Singer/Composer Mustafa Zahid, Sayeed Quadri penned very delectable and expressive lyrics for the album. The album followed a well-turned release strategy, by releasing one song per week. As we know Pritam surely deems the youth craving & depicture it with proper poise, It's a lustrous blend of canorous, appealing, and placid tracks.

      1. Album begins with a mellifluous melody "Teri Jhuki Nazar" spectacularly rendered by Shafqat Amanat Ali. It's a soft romantic track, song starts with soft stringed guitar strumming mingled with fetching beats of soft drum kicks, Shafqat Amanat Ali's canorous vocals & soothing recital calmly fascinates your nous and very softly sustain the lustrous perception of profound love. Sayeed Quadri's extremely placid & amiable lyrics beautifully delineate the unvoiced situation and lovely proposal, Pritam has again proved his flashy skills, and crafted a verily melodious composition. Mesmerizing!

      Jab teri ungliyaan mujhko chho jati hai, To kai khwab dil mai jagaa jati hai..

      Itni berang bhi to nahi zindagi, Har mulaqaat mujhse ye kah jati hai..

      Teri hi baaho me, panahon me

      Rehna mujhe hardam sadaa..

      Teri hi yaado me, nigaho me

      Rehna mujhe har dam sada..

      Teri zulf jab bhee bikhar jati hai, Ae haseen too haseen aur ho jati hai..

      Jo kitabon mein padhhte rahe aaj tak, Wo pari hamko tujhme nazar aati hai..

      2. After an utter tuneful romantic track we have a track which deeply depictures the longing for love "Mat Aazma Re", a very appealing melody sung by K.K. Song picks loudly with harmonious violin & influential hard drum kicks, K.K.'s alluring vocals stunningly leads the song and he prettily crafted the track with his thumping singing skills. Very meaningful lyrics penned by Sayeed Quadri which is the prime excerpt of the track, the stupendous combination of Pritam, K.K. & Sayeed Quadri again worked magic through this track. Very Nice!

      3. "Jaata Hai Tujh Tak" sung by Nikhil D'Souza, it's a glaring & strenuous track which quietly changes the mood with it's passionate sense. Sayeed Quadri's wholly positive lyrics and Pritam's addictive beats prettily portray the feelings of enthusiastic protagonist in this solo number through Nikhil D'Souza's delectable vocals. Nikhil D'Souza sung very well, song will grow on you slowly, but you will like it shortly. Nice!

      4. After some heartrending soulful songs from Murder Series Zindagi Is Tarah - Murder(2004), Phir Mohabbat and Aye Khuda - Murder 2(2011), Murder 3 continues this trend through next track, also Mustafa Zahid, a very popular pakistani rock artist is back after three successful tracks from Blood Money(2012) with a sof rock solemn track "Hum Jee Lenge". It's a sad song which describes the situation and perception of broken hearted protagonist. Mustafa Zahid has done tremendous job as a Composer, soft guitar strumming, strings, soft drum kicks, electric guitar, catchy tune of dry guitar ( sounds similar to AMP- Dry, Cabinat- StaX), he used all these instruments thoroughly. Emotive lyrics, Mustafa Zahid's tender and perceptible vocals forge a perfect blend. Benign!

      5. "Hum Jee Lenge (Rock Version)" is a rock ballad version of sung by Mustafa Zahid. Nice arrangements with increased tempo and some minor changes. It could be better if instruments synchronised in different manner.

      Music Director- Pritam, Mustafa Zahid;

      Lyricist- Sayeed Quadri;

      Rating- 3.5/5 ;

      Recommended Songs- Teri Jhuki Nazar, Mat Aazma Re, Hum Jee Lenge.
