Still feeling udaasi...
We all know that this kind of movie are never meant for watching, still there are some investors in our industry who make such movies, who are only meant for wasting time and money, for the makers as well as for the viewers, who thank god fortunately are very few and countable.
It’s an old love story trying to shows us in some different way. Vivek (Gashmeer Mahajani) stays at village and working as a cook in one house. He is a very smiling boy and a very good to heart. The owner of that house decided to marry her daughter with him. But on the marriage day itself the girl ran away from the house because she was already in love with someone else. Vivek felt sad on his fortune but with a smile on his face he decided to move Mumbai and find some good job there as a Chef in some good five star hotel. As he was struggling for his job he met one girl Preeti (Twinkle Patel) accidently. That too in a very filmy way, he saved Preeti from some bad boys who were misbehaving with here. Totally filmy isn’t it? And plus after that scene Preeti kissed Vivek on his cheek and he fell in love with here. Wow!!!! Who made this script? Oscar winning screenplay! With some few funny scenes, Vivek and Preeti became good friends. He decided to propose her but now again tragedy occurs in Vivek’s life. Preeti is going to be married with one educated and sophisticated guy, Hitesh Paintal (Prakash Raj) who also works in Preeti’s dad company. Soon Vivek came to knew that Prakash is some fraud guy and so on and on and on. I guess now you must have understood what the story might be having.
I just can’t believe this that the story and the screenplay is being written by none other than the Mr. Anurag Kashayap, who has written and directed the famous films like Gulaal & Dev D. what was Anurag upto when he has written this kind of story and such lousy filmy kind of screenplay? I guess this would be his worst film ever in his flimography. And I think he should also get some award for this kind of story and screenplay, for the category of “Talented people are wasting talent”.
The film is directed by Som Shekhar. Very-very bad direction by him! I guess I may not have watched any such film like this which is having an extreme bad direction in it. What kind of shots he had taken? Close up, two shots, and etc. Typically a serial way of directing one feature film. Many many jump cuts were been able to see during the film, I believe it is in each and every scene & each and every shot. And to hide those jump cuts, the editor tried to give dissolve effects and all, but it can’t be hide as we all know. People who know little about the making and all can understand this type language but for the other people, it can be simply stated as, a very bad direction film directed by a very bad director.
Performances by overall artists were sadly below 2stars. The new comer Gashmeer Mahajani had performed well and I guess overall he is a good performer as a fresher whether in dance or acting. But I also think that he would be best suitable for any action kind of movie that to a role type of like gangster such as Vivek Oberoi in Company. He was not actually suitable for love story and such roles. And the new comer girl Twinkle Patel was looking cute and beautiful but acted really awfully. No expressions no dialogue delivering no body language nothing, simply good and best for any daily soap TV serial, but I guess they are also now giving good rona-dhona performance. Let’s hope for something good in her life. Above from all the artists I guess Mukesh Bhatt as Chachaji performed and delivered some professional acting on the screen. Rest all were a big headache.
Now don’t ask me about how was the music? You can guess it I think so!
It was looking like I was watching one really bad daily soap TV serial for continuously 3 long hrs, with some added boring songs and performances. And the award goes to….. “To the Viewers”!
