Here is another mass masala action film masquerading as a love story.
It is a Tamil version of the Kannada film Nanda Loves Nanditha and director Ramshiva has nothing new to offer story wise or presentation.
Nanda(Hemachandran) is a vagabond who is kicked out of his house by father and step-mom. He becomes a hit man for the local loan recovery agents. Slowly, he graduates and takes up a job to bump off a politician (Shanmugharajan) for a thug (Nassar) who is a king maker. There is this girl Nanditha (Meghna Raj) who falls hook-line-sinker for our hero and love blossoms between the two.
Nanda takes the politician to a deserted place and slays him but the man does not die and much to Nanditha’s shock she is the witness to the murder attempt. The girl leaves the place quietly with her mother and Nanda becomes a wreck! Will Nanda who is now on the run escape, will he marry Nanditha? A bloody climax answers all this.
With crass item number, songs which come as speed breakers, subplots, flashback within flashbacks, jarring background score, and lot of violence, this mass film fails to impress.
