Narinder Bedi was born in 1937 in the city of Mumbai (Bombay).
He was expired on 21st of October 1982. He is the well known Writer, Director & Producer. His father Rajinder Singh Bedi was also a very well known and famous Writer, Director & Producer which had many great films in his Biography such as “Ek Chaddar Maili Si” (1986) , “Bambai Ka Babu” (1960) and etc.
Narinder Bedi has three children’s namely actor Rajat Bedi, Producer Manik Bedi and Television Writer Ida Bedi
His first official entry in the industry was as a writer and his first debut film as a story writer was “Mere Sanam” (1965) in which his father Rajinder Singh Bedi was a screenplay writer and a dialogue writer. Also Narinder Bedi was a Production Controller in that film.
Then for some few years he did the job of Production Controller only in the films like “Raaz” (1967), “Bhramachari” (1968).
Then suddenly he switched in the direction department and his first directorial debut film was “Bandhan” (1969). After that he made a film as a director directly in the year of 1972 which was “Jawani Deewani” starrer Randhir Kapoor and Jaya Bhaduri. Then again after the span of two years he directed films like “Khotte Sikay” and “Dil Deewana” in 1974.
After “Dil Deewana” he written and directed a film called as “Benaam” in 1974 starrer Amitabh Bachchan and Moushmi Chatterjee. In 1975 he directed “Rafoo Chakkar” starrer Rishi Kapoor & Neetu Singh.
Then in 1976 he became as a Producer and made a film “Maha Chor” starrer Rajesh Khanna & Neetu Singh which was also directed by him. In the same year he written and directed a film called “Adalat” (1976). Then after a long gap of six years he directed four films in one shot which all were released in the year of 1982. “Taaqat” (1982), “Kachche Heere” (1982), “Sanam Teri Kasam” (1982) and “Insaan” (1982). His last film was “Aakhri Sangharsh” as a writer and a director satrrer Vijayendra Ghatge & Sarika, which unfortunately released in the year of 1997, some about 15 years from the date of his death.
