    After being first in M.A. Satya was married to Jatin babu's daughter Kamala. To attend the marriage ceremony Satya's rich friend Subodh and his sister Asha came from Calcutta. Subodh enquired whether Satya would go abroad for higher study or not. Satya informed him that he wanted to remain in the village to educate local kids so that they would become real citizens of the country. But due to famine his students left for city to collect rice from control shop for living. Satya sold his everything and brought back those kids and arranged their food. Kamala gave her all the ornaments to Satya to fulfill his mission. Satya's impression about Kamala changed and he started liking her. Kamala met an accident one day. Her father took her home. Ultimately Kamala got well but Jatin Babu did not want her to sent to Satya's house. Rather he insulted first Satya's mother and than Satya. Insulted Satya left form Calcutta to his Subodh's house and decided not to came back again to his village. Subodh and Asha thought Satya's wife had died. Asha came to know that Satya was interested in a special type of cultivation. Asha agreed to fund that project so a cultivable land was created by clearing the jungle of Boaliar. Inspite of everything Satya always remained unmindful. Asha believed the memory of his wife haunted him. So she agreed to deliver herself to Satya. But Satya refused her proposal because Kamala had no fault. So ultimately Kamala one day got back her husband Satya.
