Sources claim director Ashwini Dheer is only wielding the megaphone on the sets of 'Son of Sardar'. The person calling the shots is actually actor Ajay Devgn. Given his acting experience and the fact that the director of photography on 'Son of Sardar', Aseem Bajaj, worked under his direction in 'U Me Aur Hum', Ajay ends up designing each shot. Ajay is also reportedly smarting from the failure of 'Rascals' and is determined to make this film, a remake of the Telugu hit 'Maryada Ramanna', a successful Sanjay Dutt-Ajay Devgn venture. Ajay's sister-in-law Tanisha is producing the film. Ajay's concerns are understandable, we guess. As long as Ashwini is not complaining, we are ready to sit back and enjoy.
