A. R. Rahman is a maestro who has always made India proud and joyous to be having him. Ditto with Shah Rukh Khan who has starred in some of the most evergreen films of Bollywood. (See Shahrukh and AR Rahman movies) However, history has witnessed that everytime these two stalwarts come together, the movie has failed to create magic at the box-office. Here's a recap:

'Dil Se', 'One Two Ka Four' and 'Swades' are the three movies in which SRK acted and Rahman composed. While the music album did a good business, with the music of 'Dil Se' being popular even today, each of these movies tanked at the box-office. So, does it mean that this combination is an unlucky one? Does this mean that the fate of 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is in jeopardy? And what about SRK's next film after JTHJ - 'Chennai Express' which again has the same combination? Will that also tank?

As of now, we can only wait for 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' to release. If the movie proves to be successful at the box-office, the jinx can be broken.
