Finally, the day about which every Bollywood enthusiast was inquisitive and discussing since months, has come, and now Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are man and wife! The couple completed the formalities of a registered marriage on Tuesday afternoon and was formally declared married.
The marriage took place at Saif's Bandra home with Kareena's mother Babita and father Randhir Kapoor signing as witnesses from the bride's side, and Saif's mother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore signing as a witness from the groom's side.
For the occasion, Kareena wore a green salwar-kurta with a heavy embellished red dupatta wrapped around her. She teamed it up with minimal jewelry, red bangles and left her hair open. A clean shaven Saif, simply dressed in a grey kurta and white pajamas, came out with his new wife to greet fans from his balcony. The Reception will be held on 17 October at a city hotel. This will be followed by another reception in Delhi on October 18 and a ceremony at Saif's ancestral Pataudi Palace in Haryana. Also present at the wedding was Kareena's sister Karisma and cousin, Ranbir Kapoor. Both were dressed in white. Randhir and Karisma later waved to the waiting fans and media from the balcony of the house.
