Veena Malik's missing act is nothing new, given that her last 'disappearing' act was orchestrated and harmless. However this time that's not the case. Veena's new missing act has been giving one particular filmmaker nightmares. Last heard the Pakistani actress who was in Dubai for performing at the New Year's Eve was having troubles procuring a visa due to her controversial image has now gone incommunicado. This has caused Hemant Madhukar, the director of her 3D horror film 'Mumbai 125 Kms', a loss of Rs 11 crores. Says the worried director, “Her phone is switched off and her manager maintains that she is still stuck in Dubai trying to get a visa.”
Hemant who was recently heard praising her actress is now anxious and has even started believing the warnings he got while signing the former model. “Many people in the industry had opposed my decision to sign her. But I did, and now I hope she lives up to my faith, else I will be doomed as there are crores riding on her.”
Thankfully, her 'Swayamvar' team shows no such signs of jitters, but knowing Veena, a few heart attacks may well be in the making.
