This isn't us saying so, but actor Abhishek Bachchan, who recently graced the inception ceremony of the Filmfare Awards. And while Abhishek has no hopes of being nominated for this year's award, given his last two films - 'Game' and 'Dum Maaro Dum' - have been complete duds, but that hasn't stopped the 'Dhoom' hero from charting his own list of favourite winners.
Says the actor, “It is a huge deal for any actor to get nominated, it is the institution's way of saying that your film is worthy. It is the same for me as well, but I like to go to award functions even when my film isn't a part of the nomination list. Applauding my friends from the industry is equally gratifying. I take pride in all the work that has been done that year.” Of the many films released this year, it's 'Rockstar', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Singham' that have made it to the actor's list of favourites, but prod him on a probable winner and Abhishek quickly says 'Vidya Balan', his two time co-star, and by the actor's admission, “one of the finest actresses in the industry today.”
