    "Ora Kara" is a horror film based on a ghost story with a subtle touch of romance. The pivotal character is Sandra (Dimple Kapadia) who lives in a house with two childern, Sara and David. She used to say thet her husband Frank (Amitabh Bachchan) has gone to the war and must return one day. One day the Megstriour people come to the house to seek the job of the housekeepers. In the meantine various uncanny incidents take place in the house. A chill runs through the spine of the viewers when the mother and the childern encounter some "outsiders" whom they consider to be ghosts. However the husband, Frank (Amitabh Bachchan) returns but cannot recognize his wife and children. He leaves the house and ultimately brings about his different reincarnation. Meanwhile, the childern escape from the house and come to know thet the housekeepers are ghosts. The story takes a tricky turn when Sandra and the childern realize that they are spirits and not living people. Flashback reveals that Sandra killed her childern and commited sucide after getting the telegram informing about Frank's death. At last, she goes to heaven with Sara and David after bidding farewell to her beloved husband Frank who reincarnated dramatically .
