This Ferdous Ahmed – Chiranjeet – Rituparna starrer released in 2000-01 & was an outright misery for the audiences. A flummerous story line embedded with obnoxious sequences & grade-less dialogues, “USTAD” was an every thing of endless nothing. Ferdous & Rituparna were monstrous & pathetic as the leads, not even being able to come at par with the camera distances & angles. The editing is nothing better than a joke. The rest of the departments do not even require an evaluation Chiranjeet’s screen presence too remains painstaking, but at least he’s tolerable than the other ingredients in this weird potboiler.
