It is a biopic of Paan Singh Tomar, an Indian Athlete who turned a rebel (baaghi). Digmanshu Dhulia has brought to life a 7-time national steeplechase champion, who was forced to take up arm and become a "baaghi" (dakait to sirf parliament mei hote hai!) due to indifference of civilian administration and police towards his grievances. Irfan Khan as an army recruit, runner and "baaghi" looked very believable! He brought needed depth and intensity in the role. Everyone in film did justice to the role.
