    'Paglu Kon Pagolder Janya'

Paglu rating: 2 out of 10

Dev’s ‘Paglu’ which has hit the screen on the same day as Jeet’s ‘Shatru’ in the battle between the two superstars is one of his worst films in recent times.A new trend has started with this film of Dev of making films with titles based on hit songs of previous films of Dev like for e.g Paglu taken from ‘Paglu Dance Dance’ from Bolo Na Tumi Aamar’ and soon to follow Khokababu taken from ‘Khokababu Jai Lal Juto Pai’ from ‘Sedin Dekha Hoyechilo’.The film with such a name and storyline had no reason to be made in the first place.

    Dev's new role!

Paglu rating: 10 out of 10

    By Sohom Pramanick(21 Mar 2011)

Dev is coooooooool! He will be playing a drug addicted person! a great film! Also good role by Koel! But dev was simply awesome! Rajiv has done a good job & this time he has not copied any film! But why didn't he played his wife Srabanti in this film? That's because Srabanti wouldn't have comepletely fitted into this role! Kooel was the right person! Also a very good work by the crew! Dev should do different kind of film now as he has done in Paglu & Dui Pithibi! So hats off to dev! » read more

It often becomes difficult to review a film which is too imaginary but has sincere performances to its credit. Dev (with the same name here) plays a loverboy cum action hero, a poor orphan studying in Princeton College while Koyel (Rimi) is the daughter of Rajatava Dutta, an Indian Senator in USA. She comes to India to know her motherland and meets Dev and the inevitable happens - they fall in love. But Rajatava snatches away her visa and locks up in her room till Dev comes to USA (well, the way he came to USA is more than a fantasy!!) and rescues Rimi with both brain ... » read more
