While the advanced Mr. Sen arrives with his blind daughter Rupsa, her ex-spouse Pronob Bose romps in with his current other-half Rimi. There is also a capitalist entrepreneur named Biswajit Mukherjee who loves to sleep & is on the mission of predating the worned out Zamindar Palace to alter it into a sumptuous business pavilion. Pronob & Rimi pack up their bags to abandon this uneasy convivial heaven. But unfortunately the couple die in a car crash on their way back home. When Rupsa gets this news she stands awestruck as if in a trance. She depends more on Akash. Meanwhile business honcho Amaresh Roy comes in this resort with his wife Brishti (Akash’s formar lover). Brishti wants desperately to leave the bisexual Amaresh, & get back into Akash’s life, but gets a cold shoulder from him. Amaresh realizes Brishti’s dilemma but feels himself trapped in a never ending abyss of pain & despair. Finally the couple leave with mixed reactions & judgements. Akash realizes that Rupsa has fallen in love with him but his defense measures leave him nowhere. The caretaker Sadhu & Akash finally escort the sightless Rupsa & her father upto the ferry with the closing credits suggesting the temporariness engulfed with the infinity of time.
