    Tha Matla leader did not agree in time marriage of his daughter Tumni with Mungra, as Mungra had no house of his own to live in. Tumni did not listen to his father. She fled away with Mungra and started living as husband and wife. They met Bilashi in the coal quarters. Bilashi was trying to seduce Mungra from Tumni's clutch. The friendship and closeness between Bilashi and Mungra started increasing every day. Tumni came to about this and one day hit Bilashi. Bilashi was also trying to get a scope to take revenge. The coal mine in which they were working caught fire due to pillar blasting. All the possible steps were taken to stop the fire. Poisonous gas started coming out from the mine. The contractor declared the prize money of Rupees 10 for the person who would be able to cover the hole with fireclay. Mungra agreed to do the task. Tumni tried to prevent him in doing such a dangerous work. They had a quarel and Tumni left Mungra. Bilashi wanted Mungra but Mungra was still in love with Tumni. Mungra wanted to get rid of Bilashi. He applied poison and was caught red handed. He was sentenced to jail for two years. After getting released from jail Mungra did not want to return to the coal quarters anymore. He started his search for Tumni.
